About Tomato Frog

Just like its name, the Tomato Frog has a body color similar to a tomato, which is reddish-orange. This unique frog will inflate its body to protect itself when threatened. The Tomato Frog's mating system is polygynous, where males and females can mate with multiple partners. The mating season occurs in February to March. In addition, female frogs will produce 1,000 to 1,500 eggs on the water's surface and will hatch after 36 hours.
